Active Radar Display?????

Featured Replies

I was a user of WeatherCenter2 (and ActiveSky) when flying with FS2002.I have now gone entirely with ActiveSky for 2004. I never had a "problem" with the radar display in WeatherCenter/FS2002. I know get a radar display (when rain nearby) that includes an empty "hole" in the center of the display. It extends out about 75 miles radius in all directions from my location. All the rain formations appear to be "circular" around the hole (much like looking at eye of hurricane and rain bands around eye).KInda strange. Anyone else seen this problem?Glenn D. Willmot

Hi Glenn,Yes, we did see this, at times, during beta testing, so I do know what you are seeing. Some things to check:Make sure WC2 has been completely removed from your system.Install MR1 of AS2004, including the AR update that will run after the AS update.Fly with global writes OFF.What is your local supression range set at in AS?Check these things and please post back!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
