  1. Oops ..... there go the shore lines again!
  2. I'm the opposite ...... I like to support (with money) those who have invested much time to creating a product for all to enjoy. They usually are more apt to provide a more "professional" product as well as be more inclined to listen to customer feedback (I'm particularly talking about individual creators ... not the "mega" corporations). I concur that BirdsEyeView was one of the best (and original) texture substitutions, but I came around to GEPro after a few years. I think the continuing development of FS Evo even beats the attempt of TNW by Howie.
  3. Definitely not in the top two .... or three terrain scenery available.
  4. Sorry, I've got a few more important things on my plate to pray about than "this" hobby. Now ..... have to consult Gilmour regarding building "The Wall" ........
  5. I see we have an aging group of members ....... it's a common problem. ..... now what are we talking about?
  6. +1 It's amazing how so many from Xville cross over the border to take away topics from the citizens of our sovereign land of FS2004 ... home of the loyal and brave. Don't worry, though ...... I'm going to build the wall and have FSXers pay for it!
  7. Shake your monitor .... works every time for me ......
  8. Buying a new car wasn't this difficult ..... and it's not getting any easier!
  9. .... and I thank you for your support once again .....
  10. What makes you think 2-D panels are dinosaurs? ...... AND ..... I primarily fly with a minipanel ....... in 2-D of course! Hands-on flying with a great view!
  11. Did anyone else catch that he is running and asking about FS98 (title and first line)? Did I cross into a conflicting universe and end up in the FS98 Forum? Answers and film at 11.
  12. -1 I vole with WingZ on this one. Never been disappointed with ASE.
  13. You DO know that this is the latest trend by developers? Offer a "new and improved" version of something we already have paid for. No new airport or scenery, just "new and improved"."Step right up and pays your money! Buy something you already have and really don't need. Keep FS2004 alive with recycled stuff!" Nope ..... I'm not falling for this money pit. NOTE: This applies to several products from several vendors over the last year or so.

  15. Woe is edetrolit ....... he has suffered so much. I've never seen somebody wracked with such a burden. Kinda makes you realize your problems aren't so hard whenever you see someone like this in misery. Woe .... Woe .... Woe. P.S. Thanks goodness for those of us who don't use this sinister AES thing ..... we have been blessed not to have been burdened with this curse! Towbars ????? Tow truck ?????? We don't need no stink'n tow stuff!
  16. Speaking of that ....... have they released the FS9 New York yet? I've had quite a long nap and I'm thinking I might have missed it!
  17. Deja Vu all over again ..... time machine don't ya know! As in the words of Doc Brown ....."Don't get old" My bad! P.S. Parachute and Brown are secretly my biggest fans! They're still in the closet ...... Didn't download funny-engined airplane panel thingy, so find no bloat on this PC .... Parashute's mind must be lying to him again .....
  18. What does the DATE have to do with anything? If it is, then the 1977 White Waltham pass was a copycat of the 707 '95 pass. In either case, it evidently is not "THAT low pass will go down in legend. In this modern world of cotton wool & bubble wrap P.C ...." Appears that it's been done before and evidently none that difficult to achieve. Now the looping 707 demonstration flight ..... THAT was a legend!
