Hi Jim,I updated my AS2004 & turned on Auto global & turned off global as you mentioned above.I can't see if this has improved the visibilty change because now i don't seem to have any clouds, just clear blue sky's.I tried several flights this morning at approx 10.30am, one in inverness, liverpool, stansted & exeter, but all appear with clear blue skys.Is there something wrong somewhere.please help.Mike.

Hi Mike,Can you explain what is happening in a bit more detail? Are you talking about surface vis or vis aloft in cloud layer boundaries? How do you note a "vis change"? How often do they occur? Maybe a screenshot or two?Is FSUIPC setup as required, making sure that you aren't disabling external app access or option control?Let me know.. thanks!-Damian

As i mentioned before it does not seem to matter where i fly within the uk i get clear blue skys.I am sorry but i don't understand what you mean by Surface vis & vis aloft in cloud layer boundaries??I also checked FSUIPC(registered version) & could not see anything relating to external app access or option control.A flight i just loaded up at 16:12pm at east midlands.EGNX 261420Z 10007KT 9999 FEW030 BKN040 13/05 Q1021EGNX 261100Z 261812 36015KT CAVOK BECMG 1821 36005KT RMK AUTO GENERATED AS2004 RMK AUTO GENERATED AS2004 RMK AUTO GENERATED AS2004FL030: 105/09 (7.9) FL060: 230/05 (2.0) FL090: 273/07 (-0.5)FL120: 314/06 (-8.4) FL180: 291/13 (-21.5) FL240: 293/18 (-33.6)cheersMike.

Hi Mike,Ok, first things first. Close down AS2004 and in FS, go into Modules, FSUIPC and click on CLEAR ALL WX. This will reset any THEME loaded that may be causing problems with wx depiction. Now load AS2004 again. Give it 5 minutes to go through everything...If still no wx, go ahead and force on Global Writes again (turn off global auto toggle and turn on global writes). If still nothing, please first send me your as2004.log file at time of failure and then try again at a different airport/area (including the new as2004.log file if this fails as well).Feel free to email me directly at damianc@hifisim.com. We'll get it sorted out! Thanks..-Damian

Update:Issue closed via e-mail - user gets wx depiction OK now with auto global OFF and global writes ON (due to the station coverage in this particular area).Closing thread...-Damian
