ActiveRadar to show up on 2nd monitor?

Featured Replies

I have been experiencing with a second monitor lately, but I just can't get the ActiveRadar to show up on it. I can drag it there in windowed mode, but as soon as I go full screen it just dissapears!Anyone know how to accomplish this? Thanks,Arthur Deelen.

Hi Arthur,Not 100% sure on this, but I think that AR must stay on the main FS computer. AR is not a panel so it acts a little differently. Maybe another user can help here!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

Thanks Jim.Perhaps I need to be more clear: I am using one PC with a dual head graphics card, does that makes a different?Regards,Arthur Deelen

LOL, I knew what you meant! I should have said "primary computer SCREEN". AR is a .dll style add on and I still don't think it can be moved to a second screen. Anyone else do this in Full Screen Mode?Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

Hi,AR on 2nd screen works fine here w/ dual head or multi video card using expand desktop mode. Remember to go out of full screen (alt-enter) and into windowed mode in order to be able to drag to the other monitor (FS9/DirectX limitation). You can then go back to full screen. Some graphics drivers also have problems with expanded desktops - make sure you have the latest for your card.Does this help?

Hi Damian,I have a Hercules ATI Radeon 9800XT dual head with the latest drivers installed (Cat 4.6). I use the expand desktop mode and it all works fine with "normal" panels. The AR however refuses to show up once I go back in full screen mode.Anyway...I'll keep on trying ;) Thanks.
