I have read the FAQ and installed MR2 (beta) and for some reason, I cannot get AS to properly sync with FS2K4. As an example, here is the weather report that AS is currently usingKSGJ 141834Z 15011KT 3SM TSRA SCT025CB RMK AUTO GENERATED AS2004 RMK which would indicated that I've got some pretty interesting weather to fly through :) However if I switch over to FS, I currently have SKC (Sky Clear) winds at FL240 of 000@01 and a OAT of -11C :(. If I look at the winds aloft table of AS for this FL, I should have 125 @ 25 with an OAT of -21. I did read the topic of the misrepresenting of OAT but I don't think that it applies here.Any assistance is greatly appreciated :) If any info is required let me knowThanksBrian

Hi Jim,I checked to make sure and yet it was checked. On that wx report, it's not a real one because of the RMK at the end, I read that as a weather ob that AS creates on the fly. I am still doing the same flight. I paused it overnight and looked this morning, and the ob that I have now is KBQK 141843Z 00000KT 4800 -TSRA BKN030CB BKN100 OVC250 23/23 A3003 RMK DYNAMIC TAF ELEMENT with aloft winds (at my level) of 220/23)Looking at FS, I have clear skies and wind of 227/29 so I can see that there is some kind of update going on :) but not the clouds I really want...As you said, the DTG for the ob is old. I don't know why it creates the weather of 18Z since for EDT, that would be weather of 14L (with 4 hrs time change)Thanks for the help.

Hi,Two common reasons for inconsistent wx depiction:1) You have THEME interfering. Shut down AS2004, CLEAR ALL WX via FSUIPC, then reload AS2004 to solve the problem (once reset this way you won't have to do it again unless you load and save another THEME).2) You have Squawkbox or ATOC and have not disabled real world weather in those apps, so the two wx "setters" are conflicting.Both issues are documented in the FAQ as well as the included As2004 manuals.
