June 18, 200421 yr Hi,Sometimes due to global writes being on and sometimes due to suppression range being on. Are you running MR1?Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
June 19, 200421 yr Yes, I'm running MR1Do I have to do something to avoid this?BTW, another question:Before loading AS2004, I clear the weather via FSUIPC. Then, I load AS2004 and automatically the last weather is also loaded.Do I have to wait for this to be loaded before changing day?Do I have to re-clear before loading a new day?Thanx
June 19, 200421 yr Hi Rino,1. Turn Global writes off. If this continues, please post your AS2004.ini file.2. The recommended order for realistic procedures:Start FS2004 Create your flight and flight plan, saving the flight plan and starting the flight at the proper location CLEAR YOUR WEATHER VIA FSUIPC. Do this by using MODULES, FSUIPC, CLEAR ALL WEATHER Switch tasks from FS2004 (or switch to windowed mode so you can use your Windows START button) Start AS2004Configure your weather data (i.e. use online updates or select/download an archive file for offline mode) Import your flight plan into AS2004 and process Review your flight plan/weather information and make any necessary changes due to weather avoidance Make any changes to your flight plan if required (remember to reload flight plans if changed) Print your weather briefing/navlog After AS2004 flight plan processing, the weather will automatically REFRESH and be properly set in FS Switch back to FS2004 Open ActiveRadar (CTRL-F12 or Flights, ActiveRadar) Load you flight plan in ActiveRadar (MODES, Planning, MSFS) Use UPDATE ALL button in ActiveRadar to refresh dataHope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
June 19, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi,You know, this looks like the TAF/radar issue in MR1. You can temporarily disable TAF processing and things should go back to normal. MR2 should be available for public beta (latest build) in the next few days which solves this problem entirely.-Damian Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
