Hello Active Sky Friends,I got this message after installing Active Sky 2004. Runtime error 339 Component missing.Edit: Here is the whole error message: Run-time error '339':Component 'msinet.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: afile is missing or invalid. I downloaded VB6 and installed but still message appear. Is there any one who can help me?

this *MIGHT* correct the problem, but Damian/Jim will have to figure out why:Download this -http://activex.microsoft.com/controls/vb6/msinet.cabOpen the cab file with winzip or winrar - extract the two files to a temporary folder. Right click msinet.inf and select install. Reboot.Let us know if that worked.Best,sg

Frans,I did a bit of research and it is still a part of the VB6 install. The file should end up in your Windowssystem folder and it needs to be registered. If you are still having trouble please post a bit about the operating system you are using. We'll write back and forth here and not by e-mail.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

Hello JimThe problem is solved yesterday evening. The Weather installed another MSINET.OXC.When I downloaded a new OXC and installed it it worked fine.I retried a new instal and the same happened. So it was related due to the MSINET.OXCThanks for looking with me into this small problem

OK I am glad you got things working again. I am not really sure that the weather installed another msinet.oxc. Still pretty sure that file is part of VB6. But, again I am happy you are up and running again!!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
