Online weather fetch problem

Featured Replies

Few minutes ago (was 20:59 in italy, that means 18:59Z) i started a flight from LIRU.AS loaded the weather fine, tough it showed TSRA that is quite strange since it just barely cloudy... The metar time showed 041858Z.Anyway after that, i traveled south in an elicopter entering the LIRA metar station and all was clear beside some clouds. Then i went back to LIRU and there wasn't the 041858Z rather a 041750 while AS was showing 1850Z as Active Wx.This is actual situation.

Here is what AS is showing right nowLIRU 041750Z 22006KT 9999 SCT030 BKN070 29/19 Q1010LIRU 041700Z 041803 VRB05KT 9999 FEW020 SCT080 TEMPO 0003 VRB10G20KT 5000 TSRA SCT0020CB BKN030 RMK AUTO GENERATED AS2004What's up?

Liru metar has changedLIRU 041845Z 21004KT 9999 FEW020 SCT070 28/19 Q1010 RMK AUTO GENERATED AS2004Looks like AS isn't getting correct data from the server...

Liru is a general aviation airport, it's a possiblity that it has closed at around 1900Z.So now i can't receive data. But then, why it first downloaded a data with the TSRA?

Hi,Looks to me like the TSRA was in the TAF report. When you see AUTO GENERATED that means that AS generated the METAR based on surrounding reports. It may not be 100% accurate. It is also possible for a GA airport to miss a reporting cycle.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

Yes thanks.I forgot LIRU used to close :)The miracle of FS opening all airports with wathever time and meteo made me forget it :)
