August 27, 200421 yr Is it possible to get destination weather while airborne? The nearest station AWOS is neat, but is kind of like Less Nessman's 'I witness weather' reports - I can allready SEE what is going on with local weather - it is the stuff over the horizon I need info on! :-)
August 27, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi,Sure... You just need to set your departure and destination airports via the New Route interface (along with a cruise altitude and speed) and Process it. Alternatively you can import your .PLN file. Now AS will be aware of your destination and will include EFAS (Enroute Flight Advisory Service) surface briefings at your destination.Hope that helps!
