October 2, 200421 yr Done, It is working now.The installer still did not work but doing the manual install and the registry entry did the trick. Works very well too I have to say.If you can get that installer right the product is otherwise great (not that it isn't now, just that the installer is a bear). Thanks,Chris

ActiveRadarConnector2.exe always fails with a "drive F: invalid" or something similar. There is NO F: drive in my computer. The widefs computer is mapped to V: -- you are probably assuming that the mapped drive will be in sequence after the local drives.I noticed the same problem before when I was trying to install 2004.0, part of the reason I gave up on it then. The AR12Update.exe will setup the .dll and folder in the FS9 modules folder, but fails to create the registry entry, which obviously doesn't let it work.I happened on the manual approach you mention above, and that did work, now that I know the reg entry to create.Honestly, you really need to fix this, it doesn't take a genius to query a user on a directory (perhaps double check that it is the right one) and then write the entry.Forget about trying to find it automatically, this is what is tripping up the installer. For such a great program otherwise, really, do fix this, or at least document what you just wrote in the readme.little frustrated>* Orest-~~~~~~~~~Orest SkrypuchUAL1445 DENFOCYFD - Canada Orest Skrypuch President & CEO, UVA www.united-virtual.com
