September 9, 200421 yr Damian,Not quite sure what you want me to do on this overspped problem. I just had another one in a 3rd different a/c. Was flying from KLAX to KDEN and was east of KLAS at FL370 and at .8m in a 757. Was flying along steady at speed when the mach number jumped to .85 and overspeed alarm went off.....had to disconnect a/p & reset. Again it was in a desolate area of desert east of Vegas.I still have global writes checked. On my next several flights I'm going to uncheck global writes & auto Global and see if any overspeeds happen. If not I will then check just global writes and see if the problem returns.By having both global writes & auto global unchecked, how will that affect my weather in remote areas?Rick
