Flashing screen - question

Featured Replies

Hi all,I am aware of the recommendation to turn the T&L option to get rid of black screen flashing. The point is that turning T&L affects other aspects of graphic engine. Is there any other way around this problem? Thanks in advanceDom

...and yes, I do have the 'Maximum Performance' clouds by FSW installed. Point is I cannot really fly without them, as defaults cause too much of a system slowdown for me.ThxDom

Hi,Please leave T&L alone and turn off Render to Texture. If you use the FSW 32bit clouds you can turn this off.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

Well, I am using DXT3 version of those. Is that correct?ThanksDom

Hi,No, you want to be using the 32bit set. Then Render to Texture can be turned off. Your clouds will still look good and the screen flickering should be gone.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
