October 15, 200421 yr I noticed today that updates of the data is slow.I mean:it's 1603Z and i have the activewx 1350Z!Now i think an hour is acceptable, but 3h13m is a bit too much when both vatsim and ivao have current weather...Since i am at it: why there isn't the possibility to use IVAO weather together with VATSIM weather?
October 15, 200421 yr I refreshed multiple times with no results.I then closed and reopened AS, and now activews is 1509Z.I hope it is a coincidence, and there was a problem on the server that Damian got fixed just when i recycled AS.Otherwise there is a problem on the client :(
October 15, 200421 yr And every time i close and reload AS, the metar gets its time updated to current time!!!I have recycled AS at 1616Z and the metar read 1616Z!Recycled at 1619Z the metar was 1619Z!Hmmm...
October 15, 200421 yr Hi EveryoneLike the previous threads it appears that the weather being downloaded is about 4 hrs old.I left Cleveland for Hamilton On. and the initial AS2004.5 screen rpt. weather at 15:09Z when infact it was 15:30 Hrs. EDT.I also have FSMeteo 6.4 so I closed out of AS2004.5 and checked out FSMeteo and the weather was updated to 19:00Z with different winds etc.Hopefully this is a server problem.I also received the Error message "due to decompression" as I previously stated in my earlier thread. The problem with this error message during your flight if the weather was to update it would freeze due to the error message. Hopefully things will get sorted out over time.Have a good one.Kenny G.
October 15, 200421 yr It seems like something's amiss with the wx downloads. Tried at CYYZ but got old data from the 14th 04Z. Also got an error message "Decompression error"Hopefully Damian's on top of it! ;-)Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
