Activesky and FSHOTsfx

Featured Replies

I've very recently installed Activesky and all those reports about how good it is are certainly well founded. Alas, I seem to be having problems running Activesky and FShotsfx simultaneously. I experience crashes usually with the error messagr 'FS9 has caused a fault in FSUI.dll'. This only happens if I attempt to run both at the same time. Each runs OK if the other is disabled.I also have FS Nav and Active Camera installed. I'm using FS9 without the 9.1 update on Windows Me, and I have the unregistered version of FSUIPC 3.40.Has anyone else had such a problem?

I run them both at the same time without any problems. Ricardo

I have somewhat complicated FS setup so I thought I might comment on AS compatibility with other add-ons.Running AS 2004.5, FS Real Time, FSHotSFX and FDC Live Cockpit all the same time, no problems at all (BTW, I see no significant performance decrease with all these running).FS 9.1 + MW2004 landclass + FSGenesis 38.4 m terrain + updated ground, water and cloud textures + PAI and UT traffic at 100% + American data roads etc + etc + etc ;)I use mainly PMDG, RFP and Captain Sim aircraft that all have quite complex systems simulation.I have *never* had any serious compatibility problems with Active Sky :( I wish I had had as good luck with some other add-ons... ;)
