Initial Load

In order to get the proper clouds you have to start ASV and input your route - then do a refresh - then start FS9 and then start your flight. However when I load FS9 and it goes to the create a flight screen it detects my location as that of my default flight and then it loads the weather for that location not my route, so I have to load the flight, and wait for it to load the wrong weather, then load the real weather again. Is there any way around this?

Interesting, the same exact thing happens here, albeit very quickly. I just figured that this was normal behavior.....:-lol

Hi All,One way is to use a 3rd party flight planner so that the plan can be imported and processed. Also set ASV to start paused. Then you can do whatever in FS04 and then refresh ASV to load the weather one time. Because of all the differnt requirements and interactions there seems to be no real easy, quick way.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

The initial plan isn't a problem - I just put my departure and destination in manually, it's not a huge deal but since I like the intelligent cloud selection I'll just have to wait for the second refresh. Thanks for the explanation :>

Hi Jim,One problem I see with starting ASV paused is that by doing so it won't have the chance to submit the randomly chosen textures to FS. Is there any way you can have ASV pick out and submit the randomly chosen textures and THEN pause until you hit Refresh or by detecting FS Ready Status if you're using that option? If not, maybe you could consider adding such an option so you can use the ICS - Random mode together with correct local real world weather in a good way.Thought the 'Ignore FS Ready Status' might be a solution to the problem above. Figured that if I don't have this checked ASV shouldn't process any weather until I actually have loaded my flight but this doesn't seem to be the case - ASV will still download and process the weather for the default 0/0 coordinates...why is that?Cheers,

Hi Jim!OK, guess I'll just have to find a method that suits my needs.But...this is what the manual says about the 'Ignore' switch:"Ignore FS Ready Status
