Suggestion for Configuration Management

Featured Replies

There is a file in the themes folder named "last.aet". That file contains the last selection updated/submitted. I would like to suggest one improvement to the contents of this file: Rather than recording *only* the last update for an entire category (e.g., if I select a night sky type it gets recorded, if I then select a day sky type it gets recorded and the night sky type is erased), the file should contain the last selection for each ***selectable*** category. In this way, the user knows exactly what they selected for each of the categories within Sky Type and Environment.-michael

Hi Michael,Yes for the sky set in the update this will be available for the theme saved, dawn, day, sunset and night, will be saved in the theme, and also will be in highlight for all sky type when we press the submit button. For now all category are recored from each category for theme or your last submit button, except the sky type, are only recorded for one sky type and are only remember with the last sky type submited.ThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

That is important because I'm finding I like variety in the "fixed" textures as much as the variety in cloud textures! Right now I'm having trouble keeping track of what's what.BTW: I was playing around just looking at the different Fixed Day Textures available and when I viewed the last.aet file I noticed that it saves the last texture selected in the dialog, even if that texture was not submitted to FS. On another note: the VAS and turbulence associated with unstable air masses (such as a thunderstorm) is very impressive. You guys have really taken this weather experience to a new level.Good job!!! -michael
