December 16, 200223 yr i have a winds prob w/ fsuipc 2.94 while on the grounds the winds are good but at about 1000ft agl they go down to around 02kts and then when i get to fl230 they jump to about 45kts and it really sucks and ideas for me thanks.Happy FlyingAnthony Hurst
December 16, 200223 yr Commercial Member Hi are you using a weather add-on? It sounds to me like you're experiencing "winds aloft" which is a good thing! You might want to enable wind smoothing in FSUIPC (winds tab) which will make the transitions much smoother and less jumpy.-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
December 16, 200223 yr ahhh, that's the way wind works. ;-)It's not the same even at 3000 feet as it is on the ground. They change all the time.
