ASV and Flight Environment

Featured Replies

HiI am in the process of doing a complete re-install and have now come to the question of clouds. I have Flight1's Flight Environment and before I install this again I would like to know your thoughts on which way I should go FE, ASV, both etc?I know your responses may be bias but I am guessing a lot of you have also had FE in the past.RegardsIan3500+2x512meg Ram2x SATA 10,000rpm WD HDD in Raid0Radeon X800 pro

Thankyou Chris for your reply. The question here I think (if I have it correct) is that basically ASV is a weather generator plus cloud/sky textures where FE is only textures of cloud/sky and water. So, would having both cause a conflict with textures or is it a matter of reading the ASV book on War and Peace and selecting which texture from which application to use etc and does this have any impact on frame rates? Thanks and regardsIan

HI, If you are using asv right now with ICS or random at startup mode, only ASV texture will be used. If all manual selected at startup mode, you can use others as well mixed with asv.ThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
