Hi, I have a question.. I use activesky's (version 5) "pause at startup" along with ICS -w- Random selection. Seems to me that the software doesnt update FS with the random textures until it unpauses and at that point I have Flight simulator running. If I load active sky with the pause feature off, and load my weather and my flightplan, it tries to update flight simulator as soon as it runs.. and not when the flight is ready.. any ideas on this issue?Adam

That is just why i suggested to insert a second pause.The addition of the ICS (and its need to update the textures before fs is run) has pointed out the need for a different startup flow IMHO.

I just bought this program the other day, and I am having a similar issue. I'm not sure if I am just doing things out of order or what. Basically, I load ActiveSky V paused without fs2004 open. I then import a flightplan, and let ICS work. The problem comes when I start the sim, as ActiveSky senses fs2004 open and automatically downloads weather for the default airport (KSEA) ignoring everything in the flightplan. Then once I reposition the aircraft to my departure airport I have to wait for the weather to refresh once again. The only other option I can think of is closing out ActiveSky and re-opening it paused after fs2004 loads, but then I would have to start all over with the flightplan again. As one of the posters above mention, maybe we need a pause button we can turn on and off ourselves? Or is there some better way to get around this?

Hi, I keep thinking its the way I do it too.. but I follow the steps exactly. I find that ASV updates the weather twice, and I still have to reload my flight plan into ASV which in turn causes yet another update of the weather.... Other than these issues so far.. this program is cooL!!..Adam
