How wil ASV simulate a hurricane?

Featured Replies

Hi all,I guess this question is for either the developers or people who have used active sky in a hurricane so far. I am wondering how will ASV simulate the huricane, I know that rainfall and other parameters have limitations because due to MSFS, but I'd like to know what will happen?Jeff

Hi Jeff,We know a few things because of last year's season:Winds will show up including gusts.T-storms are shown.Rain and heavy rain will be there. If you use Active Radar you will get a good visual representation.Cloud layers were accurate. Now keep in mind that for any of this to happen, the reporting stations must continue to operate. If the power/equipment/staff/reports stop, then the data may not be 100% intact. Sometimes this happens in the hardest hit areas.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
