August 12, 200520 yr Hi,Have read the information about the error 339 and the file Chilkat.Zip.dll and follwed the instructions went to press repair and this this other message saying about (ASV - Activesky Version 5.msi) is missing so it won't let me repair the file again, then pressing cancel and close brings this message about the installation source for this programme is not available and check that it exsists.I can only remove the program when I select it from the control panel I don't get the option of changing or full install. I pressed the support information button which had the option of repairing the programme hence when I got the previous message above I noticed you need to contact you spyware company about the chilkat.zip.dll file and ask them to stop flagging it which I don't fully understand what I need to do and also attach the file for them to inspect well I can't find the file anywhere I use McAfee so what would I need to do as I'm not able to use ASV again.I know I posted about this on 6th August but have read the help provided from that and also the fix message posted by Jim.Kindest RegardsJason Thompson Jason Thompson
August 12, 200520 yr Hi Jason,When you get that .... msi message, that means that your regisrty has lost track of ASV. Best just to uninstall and reinstall.Turn antivirus off.Reinstall ASVchilkat.zip.dll will end up in the main FS04 folder. Let them know to stop flagging this file and attach it for them. Or set up McA not to check your FS04 folder.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
August 13, 200520 yr Author Hi Jim,How do I set up McA not to check my FS04 folder as you can guess I'm not that good with computers. You know you said about the radar set it up and if you still don't get anything then let you know. Well I loaded up Active Radar and never got anything and was flying into HKG with thunderstorms and heavy rain rain but I had used the FS real world weather updates with me not having ASV could that be the cause of me not getting nothing on the radar just a thought. I do apologise to keep posting things I do want to get to grips with ASV and use it but am grateful for your help you keep providing to me.RgdsJason Thompson Jason Thompson
August 13, 200520 yr Hi Jason,I am not sure as I have never used McA. It may be in the Options somewhere.AR will not work with FS Real Weather. You must be running AS2004.5 or ASV.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
