Hi Phil, I've just got MSFS2024 and like you its very confusing but I've mamanged to sort it out. What I did was copied my PMDG 777 profile for SPAD and I've just had to amend things. I must admit I'm not very good with SPAD and still don't understand 3/4 of it. I've not had to deactivate any of my pheriphals. Sorry I wasn't much help but hopefully the video below is helpful Jason

I've had the same thing happen with the B77F & B737-700 and I'm using MSFS2020. I ended up having to restart my flight again and all was fine after this. Tried a non PMDG aircraft and no problems with first flight. So not sure what the issue is? Jason

Hi, I've noticed I'm unable to use my mouse to move around the cockpit like I used to? This is something new and I'm unable to rectify it. Has anoyone any suggestions on what might be the cause? I did install Flow pro and thought it was that but its still the same. My camera for the cockpit is showing camera type (Fixed Lock) think thats what it was on before THanks Jason

Hi, I've recently installed Captains Set for PMDG 777 and was going through the Manual and read about setting up voice but was puzzled by one thing when it says about online ATC. I have my Online ATC setup on another pc and this is linked via WideFS and my headphones are plugged into that pc so does that mean I'm unable to setup voice and use this for 777 when I'm flying as on the FSX pc this only has FSX and nothing else? I'm sorry if this sounds quite confusing but would appreciate any advice or help offered. Thanks Jason

Zach, The message "Waiting for Simulator" means you haven't followed the steps correctly to install SimConnect. My advice would be to remove Simconnect from your Client and Server pc then start again follow the instructions preciously this is what I had to do several times until I realized I'd done the IP addresses wrong. Also from the sounds of you have tried install SimConnect without even following the instructions just do the above, I appreciate it can be very frustrating as I found myself and I'm not that good with computers . Regarding your 2nd issue as you can't start PMDG Aircraft I'm not following you and am confused as to what you exactly mean?? Thanks Jason

Hi, With the update for the PMDG 777 do I need to uninstall FS2crew first before I do the new install and then install FS2Crew again? Thanks Jason

Hi, I can't work out which version I need for PMDG 777? Is it Captains Set or Voice and Button Control Set only? I've read both and not really sure what the difference is between them both? And do all FS2Crew work with FSX Steam ? Thanks Jason

Hi Jim, Many thanks for your reply. I just thought that I'd do a complete re-install of FSX as I've heard it's a good thing to do. I've not got any issues with FSX from what I can see and when I use it. The only issue is with Ezdok which I still need to sort out as my views have been buggered up. Would you recommend not doing this then only if you have serious computer problems? Thanks Jason

Hi Folks, I'm going to un-install FSX and re-install it again onto my pc but just wanted to ask few questions. 1) My pc is networked so will I need to un-install ASN & and both SimConnect Clients & FSX SP2 SDK and the install them again so FSX will connect correctly when using FSUIPC & WideFS? 2) Which is which out of the Client pc & Server pc as I'm never sure? 3) I've got my VAS usage numbers displayed on top left of FSX but can't remember how to get that to show up the numbers again once I've installed everything? 4) I read about installing any add on scenery into Country Folders so you only have active the necessary countries your flying from & to is this a good idea? Have others done this? 5) With Scenery such as Flytampa , Aerosoft , FSDreamteam and the various others do I browse to the country folder before installing and if so does it cause problems when using FSX? And if any Add on managers need to be installed? 6) When using Scenery Config it's correct that you untick any scenery not needed? Which improves VAS usuage ? I've found few posts on removing and re-installing FSX aswell as using ASN to setup the Network config but would appreciate any help on my few questions or other advice others may have. Kyle, I'll be using it for FSX. Regarding Robert's post from yesterday saying the update will hopefully be released Saturday that's what I'm referring to. I'm correct in saying that the update will add new features to the 737NGX is that correct? Thanks Jason
