ASV Active Radar on my LD-767 - performance question

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I noticed when using my Active Radar on the LD-767 that it took my frames down from a locked 25, to a painfull 8. I have not tried to use it (as I only fly 757/767's with LD-767 panel) on another plane, but will try in a ga plane asap. My question is, even after I closed the radar, the frames never came back. Also tried selecting a new flight, but the frames were still at 8. I had to restart FS9 to get back to normal performance. What can I do here, as I really would like to view the precip info??Any help is kindly appreciated,Thanks!Neil :-)

Hi Neil,Glad you made your way over here!!Try this: Go to the Radar Options Screen and start to reduce the Radar Detail setting. Then test. For the other situation: make sure you turn the Radar off before closing. Or you may be runnig out of memory. Does this happen if you use a default plane?Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Hi Chris & Jim, Glad to be here! I will test this weekend with a default cessna, or one of the others. I did actually turn the radar off before closing the window. I will report back Monday after testing a bit more, and let you know the results. Thanks for the response, and if you guys, or anyone else thinks of anything else - let me know! :) Neil
