September 24, 200520 yr I been flying around the gulf in a C130 tracking trying to track the hurricane path. Using ASV build 360. I taking it that FS9 can't display a hurricane correctly or ASV can't simulate the correct the correct weather. AS far as hurricanes goes.At one point AS was showing correct winds and metar reports but it displayed broken clouds and sun.Bill M:-) Bill McIntyre Asus StrixB650E-F Gamer, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, Corsair Titanium DDR5 64GB, Samsung 990 PRO-4TB M.2, (4) 2TB SSD's, Corsair H1150i liquid cooler, RTX 2080TI Founders Edition, (2) LG 34" HD Curved Monitor, Sound Blaster Audigy X, 1Kw PC Power & Cooling Power Supply, Corsair Obsidian Full tower Case. September 24, 200520 yr Hi Bill,If the weather stations have closed down and employees evacuated then there is no way to get the data. Both FS04 and AS are able, but I don't think anyone is taking chances this time around.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
September 24, 200520 yr Author Hello JimThanks for the reply. That's proberly what's going on, because I tried flying around the area again and got almost nothing. I thought ASV also got it's metar info from National or international weather satellites if local metar was not availible. Thanks againBill M Bill McIntyre Asus StrixB650E-F Gamer, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, Corsair Titanium DDR5 64GB, Samsung 990 PRO-4TB M.2, (4) 2TB SSD's, Corsair H1150i liquid cooler, RTX 2080TI Founders Edition, (2) LG 34" HD Curved Monitor, Sound Blaster Audigy X, 1Kw PC Power & Cooling Power Supply, Corsair Obsidian Full tower Case.
