Error on submit....\\"mainpcname"\Flight Simulator 9

Featured Replies

Past 2 days I reloaded windows XP sp1, FS9 on a freshly formatted hard drive. I have registered FSUIPC and WideFS .5 versions and when I reinstall ASV on my laptop with wideFS everything seems to go fine, ASV loads, pauses then starts on refresh, loads weather into FS9 on main pc but when I try to changs anything in Active Environment and click Submit button I get the above error 'Error on submit....Folder "mymainpcname"Flight Simulator 9". I don't understand why ASV recognizes Flight simulator correctly to load current weather but won't submit new textures!! Help, I have been using this since it came out and love the great textures it randomly submit as I have the ICS and random selected. Thanks..Robert

Fixed the error! Didn't have "Allow others to change files" ticked on the sharing properties for Flight Simulator 9 folder on main PC! Duhhh.. Everything running nice now except on initial load of ASV with only SU1 installed the load process hangs for over 60 seconds as it is "Reading ICAO station File". Any idea why it would do that,it used to only hang there a couple seconds...Can I somehow modify the airport file?? Thanks.
