Error with the 128x128

Featured Replies

I installed the ASV Enhanced and the the 128x128.After that I disabled the MIPS and the DXT to be able to convert the 128x128 as the other (512x512, 256x256 and 64x64).During this phase the 128x128 is not selectable (greyed out). After this I enabled the MIPS and the DXT and the 128x128 was not greyed out any more. But after selecting the 128x128 I got a lot of error messages (do not remember all of them but some was about converting to MIPS and one was about the check the install folder for something?).And now the 128x128 is not selectable again (greyed out).Any suggestions how to approach this?

You must install texture sets before chossing them....The 512x512 texture set is available from .....hifisim.com"And then when I try to restart the ASV :"Error on cloud texture Filter. HI Johan,If you are missing the 128x128 folder for DXT, this is because the you have installed asv rc3, made the convertion and after installed 128x128?Enable DXT again and see, If still not working;128x128 must be installed before ( the folder 128x128 will appears in the 3d clouds texture folder) Be sure the folder are in archive mode and not only read only. right mouse click on the folder, select properties, select at the bottom, Archive, press apply or ok.-Uninstall ASV RC3-Re-install ASV RC3-Enable DXT.ThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Hi,You don't need and don't Disabled MIPS and then Enabled MIPS to get the 128x128 in, you don't need to do this, mips are already enabled for 128x128 (and even disabled they will works.)Can you see if the 128x128 folder is in the DXT folder? and others 256x256, 512x512 folder are there? In the 3d ModulesASVActiveEnvironment3D Clouds Texture, there is the 128x128 folder? The 128x128 is grey out when you enable DXT and when you disable DXT is not gray out?ThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Hi Johan,"I thought that if I have converted the others (512, 256 and 64)earlier to MIPS then I must also convert the 128 to MIPS?"not needed 128x128 are already mips enabled when you install 128x128.From what's you are telling me, the convertion of the DXT did not works for 128x128, can you see if the folder are in archive mode?Maybe few files reside in the asv folder when you unisntall asv, like the *.bat files and the mipson.flg, and these make the problems..When you un-install asv, delete manually the asv folder. flight simulator 9moduleasvThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
