October 4, 200520 yr Any help would be appreciated. When I load up FS9 using Active Sky the surface winds are usually showing between 35 and 50 knots (viewing with Shift-z), sometimes even toppling a light single engine airplane. These numbers arent even close to what the metar report for the location shows. I have tried reinstalling Active Sky and that does not cure the problem. I have not had this problem before, it just came up today. I have not made any changes. It occurs with both default and add on aircraft.Any ideas?
October 4, 200520 yr Hi,A few things to try:Reset FSUIPC to default settings and weather settings Off.Make sure that Limit Surface Wind Speed is checked Off in ASV.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
October 5, 200520 yr Hi,It could be the saved weather from your default flight. Load that flight and re-save it after ASV has processed the weather.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
October 5, 200520 yr Commercial Member Yes,This sounds like some pre-loaded weather either via wx configurator, saved fs flight, actual METAR conditions, etc..Which weather do you have loaded? If looking for real-time wx please make sure to enable "Online" mode. Thanks! Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
