October 7, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi, -Make sure you press set default button on option, click save and close, (to enable online update)-Make sure you have added ASVE to the firewall. You can use the latest FSUIPC FSUIPC 3.50 from here http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis
October 7, 200520 yr ChrisI had already done that, it starts online and fetches the 370K file.My Panda firewall is enabling ASV in and out on all ports.Like I said on my previous post, I copyied the FSUIPC.dll that came with ASE(3.50)to the FS9/Modules folder and registered it.I start ASV, then start FS9 and still get the "FS Disconnected" message. What else can I do?TnxJoao

October 8, 200520 yr Hi,Something is not quite right with your installation of FSUIPC. Move the FSUIPC.ini, FSUIPC.log, and key file out of the modules folder. I know, this just gives you an unregistered copy. Then start ASV and see if they connect.Post back when you get a chance.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
October 8, 200520 yr Hi JimGuess what? I did that and ASV connects to FS now.Thank you very much.Great support.Joao
October 8, 200520 yr Hi,That is great and thanks! Now, put the key file back in to register FSUIPC and see if things are good.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
October 8, 200520 yr Hi Jim,Putting the .key file back made everything wrong again. I removed it and will address that issue later.Anyway, tnx for your support.Just one last question:My graphics card is far from being a top notch, therefore I now lost about 10fps running ASV.What settings should I adjust to get some fps back without loosing too much of the great wx quality ASV has given me, until I buy a new one?Joao
October 9, 200520 yr Hi,Pete will be away until the 14th to deal with your key issue. You might want to generate another by re-entering your registration information in FSUIPC.Enable MIPSLimit cloud layers to 3Set cloud draw distance to 30 in FS04.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
