November 5, 200520 yr Hi all,I use ASV and I still have the same problem what I had in AS 4.5. When I approach to my homebase LKPR (Prague-Ruzyne), during approach I get different generated weather in FS from METAR generated in ASV. It changes a few seconds before landing - weather in FS is suddenly generated on the basis FSV metar. For example : I'm 15nm on ILS rwy24 LKPR, alt 4000 ft and in ASV I can see this metarLKPR 012030Z 14004KT 6000 -RA SCT022 BKN063 OVC090 05/04 Q1021 NOSIGbut sky is clear or few clouds, visibility is more than 10km... Till a few seconds before landing weather is dramatically changed to weather from ASV metar. Is very hard to land, when calm wind is changed to crosswind, altimeter has different value than new atmospheric pressure, visibility is suddenly low... and I'm 20sec before touchdown...Can anybody help me ? You can look on my option settings...Thanks.Milan

November 5, 200520 yr Hi,Not sure why you are seeing these drastic changes. So:Reset FSUIPC to default settings and Weather Settings Off.Make sure that in FS04 dynamic weather is Off.Try with Haze and Fog are both Off in ASVE.Please let us know your results.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

November 7, 200520 yr It happens only at LKPR. I have noproblem somewhere else... Pics I sent you by email.ThanksMilan
November 8, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi Milan,It appears that a wx station on the approach path of LKPR is indeed active until you near the threshold, where it switches to LKPR. Why the visibility is so different is the question. It may be closed, inactive, etc... If you follow the ASV main interface it will show the closest station on your approach... This station needs to be looked at (please advise which one it is), it may need to be removed.Alternatively you can enable "Force Destination Wx Zone" to clone all nearby stations to your destination regardless of what the METAR data reads.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
