November 12, 200520 yr Could your previous version have caused scenery stuttering. Afetr I updraded to your last version I got scenery stutter afterwards. I am trying to investigate different possibilities. Before I installed the upgrade, I did not have stuutering. I use FE for clouds texture. I use the all manual setting in your program but right before the problems after installing the last version I changed from manual setting and experiment with the others. Could changing settings have changed something with textures or the stuttering. I am not blaming your software.
November 12, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi,Which version did you upgrade from/to? Did you perhaps load some textures from ASVE in the non-mipped format? This could potentially cause a slight performance hit (vs. FS9 stock), but highly unlikely. To be sure, convert to Mips then re-submit a random set. You could also go back to the pre-ASV textures by copying your ASVActiveEnvironmentTexture Backup folder to FS9Texture. I doubt this has anything to do with it though since you are using FE for cloud textures.Have you tried closing ASVE, does the problem continue? If so, this would confirm that the problem has nothing to do with ASVE processing... Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
