Howdy,I.m new to ASV5E and have tried 2 flights KBNA-KSEA. The first flightlasted 1 hr before CTD. The second lasted 3 hrs before CTD. I'm usingPMDG 737, Radar Contact 3.1 and FS2crew. I have converted the cloudsto MIPS and am using the Imagetool.EXE. I do not get any error reportwhen the CTD happens. Thanks in advance for your help. P.S. The program runs great and looks great.

Hi,Welcome to ActiveSky!Concerning CTDs... please search the forum for the CTD string, you will find many comments both here and in the MS general forum.While it may seem AS is causing these, it cannot, it only sets the wx that FS is depicting - externally via FSUIPC. It can be said that AS does strain the system a bit more, and makes underlying problems appear where they might not have... Using FS real-wx (without ASVE loaded at all) should also show the problem.Common causes: Need to update graphics driver, bad landclass or other scenery, corrupt .dll files, etc...Because it is happening after some time, it really seems like a memory leak from bad landclass/scenery, and/or running out of system memory (PMDG737 + RC3 + FS2crew is quite a bit of stuff to have loaded, maybe try using FSAutoStart to end some unneccessary processes?).I would recommend disabling all add-ons except ASVE, and go from there, adding add-ons back one at a time until the culprit is found.Please let us know your results!Best,

Hi Damian,The rpoblem has occured since installing ASV5e. I have 1.5 gigs of memory and have been flying this same config using WXre with noproblems. I had problems downloading weather at first because I stillhad WXre installed also. After uninstalling WXre I had no problemsgeting the weather. I went to the registry and found another WXrefolder in there and have deleted it but due to tornados in our areaI have not been able to fly this route again. Plan on it tomorrow and will keep you posted of the results.
