I just purchased and loaded ASV last week. I am making progress in operating it but the radar only has a black & white screen...no color so situation even though I am in the middle of a thunderstorm or light rain...any ideas?Mr. Steve

Hi All,The black and white colors represent snow, pink for freezing stuff and green for rain. I am suffering a lack of radar all of a suddenIt happened once before and you advised me to re install after which it worked fine.It is quite definitely not working as there is a lot of weather in UK today including T Storms.Nothing shows on the radar!!I have not made any changes to fs for a while now

Hi Chris,Where does AR say it is snowing, not what airport but which line?Is it possible that the light gray color of the snow is not being seen? Hi JimCurrently I am sitting here on the tarmac at Inverness(EGPE)in rain with thunder flashes visible from the cockpit.The AR display shows no activity.The Tracking Screen shows"Precipitation..........Moderate Rain"on one line at the bottom.No other entries below that.All the other items under Local Information appear to be correct.I have toggled all through the options B,C etc and no change.The Radar is enabled in Options

Hi,I just gave it a try and didn't get a display either. I took a look at the METAR and noticed the 500S entry, which is strange. I edited that out in the wx Configurator and then AR worked. Hi Chris,That is great!No, I don't have an idea. We cannot duplicate it and it happens rarely and usually a re-install fixes it.
