November 27, 200520 yr Hi,I've set up a simple MSFS flightplan from VECA (Chabua, India) direct to ZPPP (Wujiaba in China). When I import this into the Nav Log it seems to think the route is from DGAA (Kotoka in Africa) to ZPPP, some 6083 miles in distance! I've never heard of Kotoka until now, so I've no idea where that has come from.I'm using build 367, an idea what's happening? If I try to import the plan into Actvie Radar it just ignores it.Here's the plan (created in FSNavigator):[flightplan]AppVersion=9.0.30612title=VECA to ZPPPdescription=VECA, ZPPPtype=IFRroutetype=1cruising_altitude=9600departure_id=VECA, N27* 27.73', E95* 7.06', +000351.05departure_position=23destination_id=ZPPP, N25* 0.00', E102* 45.00', +006217.19departure_name=Chabuadestination_name=Wujiabawaypoint.0= , VECA, , VECA, A, N27* 27.73', E95* 7.06', +000351.05,waypoint.1= , ZPPP, , ZPPP, A, N25* 0.00', E102* 45.00', +006217.19,
November 27, 200520 yr Hi,VECA is not in the airportdb or in the weather station list so ASVE defaults to the 0,0 location. The nearest station is VEMN, 5 miles away. You could manually enter the plan VEMN---ZPPP into ASVE as your route.Keep in mind that Active Radar will never accept a FSNav plan. The plan must be re-saved in FS04, then imported into Active Radar.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
November 28, 200520 yr Thanks Jim, that makes sense.I didn't know about the save plan first in FS2004 either, so I'll try that in furture too.Cheers.
November 29, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi,You can also add the VECA entry in the airport list! It won't affect weather depiction but will at least be accurate for locating/finding closest station in the weather report/navlog. Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies

I'll give it a go when I get a sec.Thanks.
