render_to_texture and flashing vxRe

Featured Replies

Hi AllI have been dealing with Flashing panel bmp. using ASvxRe.I have been trying some suggestions. Unchecking 'render_to_texture'.When doing that my FS9 gets very bad performance, and I get CTD's all the time.Any other suggestions to get rid of that flashing issue?I am confusedRegardsHenrik KorningBGGHDell 84003.4GHz, 800MHz FSB, 1MB cache1024MB PC-4200 Dual Channel DDR2 533MHzATI radeon x800 256Mb

Hi,We'll try a few things:Make sure wxRE is updated to V1.92.4Make sure FS2004 weather Writes is checked OnIf you don't run wxRE do your panels flash? Are you using any 3rd party cloud textures? Are your video drivers up to date?CTD's are rarely due to AS. Usually it is a driver or a setting or a scenery issue. Also keep in mind that wxRE was written for FS2002 and was updated to work with FS2004 so some weather features in FS04 will not be used. Please let us know!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
