December 22, 200520 yr I took off from KSBA and it's very hazy. I noticed that it seemed like I had turbulence on the ground, as in little wind gusts. I assume this is very realistic, but of course I don't fly in real life. Anyhow, should I have been getting shifted around on the ground so much or no? Never had this with any previous version (ASV, ASVE). Otherwise, it's great though. I hope I'm doing the ASG right for random textures! :-lol Climb out in the soup. Great haze all the way out! December 22, 200520 yr A quick question for ya, did anything a little heavier than you take off within 5 or so minutes before you? It sounds like mild wake turbulance.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. December 22, 200520 yr Author Well, I have wake turbulence turned off because I've had problems with it in the past in the B200 from Aeroworx. Plus, I had to program the RXP GNS530 and set up the plane, and I don't recall anyone leaving KSBA.I did an ATR flight in Europe just now and it seemed fine. No ground control issues. As I mentioned, it really wasn't a big problem, but it seemed a little odd since the wind on the ground usually pulls one way or the other. This was shifting me back and forth and the IAS was jumping like it does when in turbulence. Odd. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
December 22, 200520 yr Hi Chris,If there was a gust component in the METAR this is possible.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
December 22, 200520 yr must have been a gust, Santa Barbara is right on the shore of the powerful Pacific Ocean, theres a lot of storms nearby
December 22, 200520 yr Author Would I have gotten this in ASV/E? I didn't know that a gust in the sim or metar would effect the game? - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
