December 22, 200520 yr Author Hi James,I do apologise..What I have now done is to share all the following folders starting with the root of the FS PC C drive followed by the Documents & Settings folder, then the UsernameApplication Data folders also. I initially only shared the Application Data folder and that didnt work.It now works a treat. I hope this helpsCheersDrayton

December 23, 200520 yr Hi,I also have the error and the above solution does not work for me.ASv6 is installed on my laptop and FS9 on the FS-computer.ASv6 is able to find the FS2004 folder which is shared and mapped as a network drive (Z:FS2004)Then I am being prompted for the personal application data folder. Now what is mentioned here as I have two ? I have a directory on the FS computer inC:documents and settingsFritsApplication DataMicrosoftFS9.Furthermore I have a directory which houses all my flightplans and stuff which is on the FS computer in:D:My DocumentsFSI tried sharing C: (root), the Application Data directory and also the FS directory on D:. Whichever combination I try, I always get the initialisation error.Any suggestions ?Frits
December 23, 200520 yr Solved it !I actually mapped the Application Directory as a drive and also ensured both Read and Write permissions were enabled.Frits
