Hi, I have just noticed that on my last couple of flights the top right hand digits that display the crossing time of the next waypoint on the ND are not constant. They are constantly scrolling thorugh the times. Does anypne know why this could be? thanks Keith

It does when you lower. As my flap lever hardware was in the UP position the gear lever in the sim was trying to lower it.

Hi, I have just had to reinstall FSX and of course the 777, and all seems fine with the model. But there is a strange loud ticking sound when loading the plane. Its just like a very loud clock ticking. If I change the controls sound level to 0 the the noise dissapears!! Even if the cockpit is C&D the noise is still there. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this at all? Thanks in advance, Keith EDIT . Please ignore. It was the gear handle!!

I cant even try the demo. I tried starting the exe and it crashed 4 times. I now cant run it because it says its locked...Oh well....not for me then..

Hi, I bought the button version last night and have been playing around with it. However, although I have managed to get the main button working using the key X, I am unable to get the secondary button to do anything. I have assigned various keys but none are working at all. I am new to this so I may be doing something wrong ? By the way I have downloaded the update and installed that as well. EDIT..All fixed, just read the update 2.2 readme..! DOH Many thanks Keith

I have just installed XPAX again after a long lay off and when it starts up the program it says I have completed 8528 flights, and I know I havn't done this many!!..It has been installed onto a laptop that it was previously installed onto so it must have retained some of the data and that now seems corrupt.How can I completely remove all the old data and start from scratch with zero flights etc?thanksKeith

Are you using the old Walk & Follow by any chance?I had this a lot when using that. More than likely it is linked to a DLL file in the modules directory that is probably causing the problem.

I use ActiveSky Enhanced ASE and REX FS2004 for the textures. Registered FSUIPC

Ben,Delete both the AF2_ETHL & AF2_ETSM files. That should hopefully stop your CTDKeith

[ben,Off the top of my head I think they are in FS9 - Scenery - World - scenery folder.However, if you just do a search for ETHL & ETSM in windows explorer wihin the FS9 folder you should find them easily enough. Delete the ones you find.Let me know if it works for youCheersKeith

Ben,If you do use AI traffic of any sort delete any ETHL & ETSM afcad files to stop CTD...Cheers Keith

Ben,Do you use Ultimate Traffic by any chance..If so its probably caused by an afacd file installed, after a process of elimination I found two files that cause this problem. I am at work at the moment but will update this thread later tonight with the names of the two files that cause the problems. Simply remove the AFCAD files and no CTD.Cheers Keith

Hi Jim,Yes registered FSUIPC and WIDEFS are up to date and the weather data did download. I did see the weather once in FS during tests and then this dissapeared after a few seconds and I had clear weather conditions again. It never appeared again. Once I go back to the older build all is fine. If I can later I will reinstall the latest build and get a log file.By the way Im using FS2004thanksKeith

Using WIDEFS the weather is slow to update and when eventually it does appear the weather then clears again and I am back to no weather. All was fine up to this latest update..UNINSTALL yet againUPDATE - I have reinstalled and back to Build 586 and that works fine. Any version after that for me does not work properly.CheersKeith

Hi,I have recently purchased Walk & Follow and have a strange problem that whenever I change to an external view the clouds do not show for a while. After a few seconds they start to reappear gradually. Is this normal or is there something I can change to help fix this?thanksKeith

I think I have fixed the problem. Initially when I installed ASE I used the key supplied for the FULL version of ASA instead of using the reg key for the UPGRADE version of ASA that I initially bought.Changing the key in REGEDIT to the upgrade key and all is now working fine.Keith

Jim,I am using the ASE icon, and every time I have to reactivate!!Now I cannot use it as it states that I have activated it on other computers again and I need to contact Hifisim yet again.Very frustrating.Back to ASA I go AGAIN!!Keith

I managed to get ASE activated yesterday when I first installed it, albeit after a small problem at first saying that I have too many activations. Now today when running ASE I get the same activation prompt yet again. I activate it again and it says that I have successfully activated the product, then when I run ASE again the same prompt appears again!?Can anyone please help ?thanksKeith

I have tried this APP and all I get is my FS scenery flickering as if refreshing all the time, and all AI aircraft are jumping forward as if theyare on double speed!!CheersKeith

Aha..great thanks guys. I cant remember why, but somewhere I read not to use Render to texture in FS as that may cause a CTD as well. No problem though I will try that later.Many thanksKeith

I tried using DXT textures and every time I had a CTD in FS..Not sure why but I certainly will not try again.Keith
