ASE Activation problem again

I managed to get ASE activated yesterday when I first installed it, albeit after a small problem at first saying that I have too many activations. Now today when running ASE I get the same activation prompt yet again. I activate it again and it says that I have successfully activated the product, then when I run ASE again the same prompt appears again!?Can anyone please help ?thanksKeith

Keith, This happens to me also. I installed ASE and activated the key upon install. When I launched ASE the first time I got a window that said "on-line" key activation required. I clicked OK and shortly ASE on line key activation was a success. I thought this on line activation might been since it was the first time I used the program Now, when I open ASE, it starts to download, then stops and I get a window that says "on-line" key activation is required. I click OK and a short time later ASE on-line key activation is a success. Is this something new in ASE or did I load it incorrectly. Is this on-line key activation going to happen everytime? I did a full install of ASE, not an upgrade. Any help would be appreciatedThanks, Brad Storm

I also forgot in my last message that when I have to do this "on-line" key activation, I also have to go to the options page and redo all the options, such as DWC, etc. ASE doesn't seem to save the config file and then when load, it uses the defalut config file.Thanks, Brad Storm

Hi All,Please make sure you are using the new ASE icon and not the old ASA icon. Also do nto switch back and forth between ASA and ASE. If we are still having issues please use e-mail with your ASA purchase information and I'll need to look up some licence stuff.

Jim,I am using the ASE icon, and every time I have to reactivate!!Now I cannot use it as it states that I have activated it on other computers again and I need to contact Hifisim yet again.Very frustrating.Back to ASA I go AGAIN!!Keith

I think I have fixed the problem. Initially when I installed ASE I used the key supplied for the FULL version of ASA instead of using the reg key for the UPGRADE version of ASA that I initially bought.Changing the key in REGEDIT to the upgrade key and all is now working fine.Keith
