dxt3 vs 32 bit

Does the perfomance really increase alot using dxt3 clouds instead of 31 bit.

Hi, It's depend on each system. Normaly Fs2004 use 32 bits for clouds.And by using 256x256 you can have better performance, depend on each system.We have added DXT clouds but, you will need render to texture enabled to prevent CTD at 77%, and these option normaly are not related to DXT clouds but:The RenderToTexture option in the display settings is used to control how the cloud impostors are generated. If the setting is on, then FlightSim will use the GPU to generate the impostors (if possible). If it
