December 28, 200520 yr Hi ! ive come onto a problem atleast i think so if iam not doing sumthin wrong. Well the thing is i was gona do a flight today my first with AS6 loaded flightplan put on constant route pressure. Time was like 1050 zulu when i left the gate. Looked on the update and it sayd in zulu hours 0725 for EDDF Even tho the last update was supposed to be 0650. OK i thought maybe it would update once airborne. So i took off. Maybe 2 hours in flight i looked again and it still was at 0650 zulu update time. Event tho the real zulu time was like 1150 so i thought what the heck i pressed the update button. Ok so finally it updated to 0950 zulu if i remember correctly. But then this odd thing happend the winds went nuts shakin me from side to side it went on like that for like 30 mins maybe. OK i was so confused. I left the flight for awhile cuz it was a long haul came back a few hours later then it was like 1750 zulu real zulu time and it still was stuck at 0950 zulu. Why dont i get updates in the weather??. Before i got updates so i wouldnt be more then 1 hour behind the real zulu time now it seams to never update unless i press the refresh button and then the winds go nuts for me. What am i doing wrong and what can i do to fix it??. Or is it a bug??. Any help would be apriciated.Best regards:Alexander
December 28, 200520 yr Hi,1. Online Updates check On?2. Update interval set to a reasonable value?Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

December 28, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi can you share your ASv6.ini file?If you are forcing the secondary server, we have noted a problem with this (fix pending), and the solution in this case would be to either force primary or force none.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
December 28, 200520 yr Hi ! yup u were right I started using force primary server and it fixed the update issue. I got some other problem tho. Was taking of at LFPG today climb went fine but directly at cruise winds started winding me back and forth and temprature went havok tottaly crazy. I have force constant pressure on so the alt stayed where it should. The weird thing is this temp changes never happend over land before only over water. Well it went on like that for a long time. Also It updates twice its really strange hard to explain. Anyway iam now over the atlantic and temp changes has stopped and speed changes to. Its like its the other way around for me. Has this anything to do with supress range i changed to 200??? Will it work better if i turn it to 100 over land or what??. Also when i load a flightplan in AS6 without fs started everything works fine. I then start FS but i dont have time to press weather settings off before it updates. What should i do to fix that issue??. Also what about the weird winds going havok. But it doesnt show on the wind change like the winds says 030/070 but the winds slash me from side to side but at the same time it stays at 030/070. Why would i need force route aloft temp over ground and not over water??. Iam so confused and i would be willing to give any information possible to help sort this out becuse it doesnt seam like a normal behaviour to me.Best regards:Alexander
December 28, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi Alexander,Are you on FSUIPC 3.52? 3.51 had some winds problems...You don't need to press wx settings off every time..just once to get FSUIPC setup properly. The SU1 update has been upadted and posted which fixes the secondary server problem.Winds reporting still but you are getting side/side buffets? Is this turbulence? You can turn down turbulence frequency in options as desired, if this is what you are experiencing. As for temp fluctuations over land, this hasn't been reported as of yet, and I can't see how 200nm suppression range would effect things. If you continue having problems please e-mail at [email protected] with some more details and I can troubleshoot this with you..Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
