Hi,Please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] for direct troubleshooting and resolution. We have one other report of this caused by Turkish language setting, obviously unrelated..Perhaps firewall software getting in the way of the download process? At what point does the Main Thread error come up? After which status message is displayed? Thanks!

Hi Damian,I am also getting the "Main Thread Processing Error" thing. But not all the time. And I can work around it.ASv6 SU1 is installed.I have ASv6 "Start Paused (Refresh to Start)" option enabled. If I do the following sequence, I will get the error:Start ASv6.Download archived weather PRIOR to April 6, 2005 (and yes, I know this is an important date. :-) )Load or set a flight plan. (This step does not affect the error, it can be left out.)Refresh.Error occurs. If I do the following sequence, I will not get the error:Start ASv6.Download CURRENT weather (or: download or load archived weather AFTER April 6, 2005.)Refresh.Download archived weather PRIOR to April 6, 2005.Load or set a flight plan. (Optional.)Refresh.No error, load FS9 and continue as usual.Note that disabling "Start Paused" does not help, as ASv6 appears to load the last used weather during the initialization, which if it is an old format archive, results in the error.I'm running WinXP, US English. I have a dual boot system. The Flight Sim XP install has minimal services and other stuff. If I had to take a guess, I'd guess that something in ASv6 does not like the old archived weather format. But processing the new format changes something internally to allow the old format to work.If you need any further info, please do not hesitate to ask.Regards,...jimPS. Using email is a bit of a problem as my Flight Sim XP installation does not have an email client installed. It's doable if you wish, but I'll have to boot back and forth.

Bump....jim
