ASV6 and Ignoring FS Ready status

Featured Replies

Way back in the mists of time (AS2004) you very kindly added the "Ignore FS Ready Status" setting (I think after I asked about running AS2004 with FSHotSeat). This allowed me to load the weather with AS while still at the FS Menu, as FSHotSeat gathers WX info during the flight load, so loading WX only after the flight had loaded was too late! This option continued to work well throughout ASV and ASVE. However, the situation has changed with ASv6.I run ASv6 across a WideFS link (as with all previous versions), and although Ignore FS Ready Status is checked (and all other settings are as they were with ASVE), when I Refresh with FS at the Menu, no WX stations are submitted. It is only when I load the flight that the WX updates. Thus I am back to the old situation that FSHotSeat does not get a WX update, and the Copilot provides the wrong destination and en-route WX reports.Any chance of changing this back to the way it used to work in ASVE?Otherwise, ASv6 and ASG are another great product. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi!Just uncheck the "ignore location until FS ready" option and you should get the effect you desire! Best,
