HI, First install the latest patch http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=24915&page=How and when there is the crash? Alot of case are related 3rd party scenery addons, aircraft, installed recently etc. Also driver video cards, motherboard memory issue-Fly with default aircraft and test.-Uninstall your video cards driver and re-install the latest one.-Install the latest chipset driver for your motherboard. These can help below for performance and maybe ctd.Performance-The performance will depend on the metar, if the metar is dense, the performance will be lower.-In ASV option, you can limit the clouds layers to 3.-Closing ASG interface before start Fs2004 can help.-On some system using 64x64 32bits the performance are slower then 256x256 32bits.. I recommend to test 256x256 32bits first, then 512x512256x256 DXT. You have to test with your system. If the setting is on, then FlightSim will use the GPU to generate the impostors (if possible). If it
