Please help....problem with light submits

Featured Replies

This thread is not to discredit you guys....I love the product. Personally though, I prefer the default runway light textures. I always use the the Wx-Influenced themes, and I was able to go and uncheck the runway lights, in the texture properties window, and they wouldn't show up, it worked great. After one of the recent updates however, texture 4b started showing up in the sim. I went back again and again to verify that the box "use this item in random/IGS selections" was unchecked and it is.....but it still submits the texture anyway. I've tried unchecking the runway lights category in the main selection details menu, but it never seems to stay, and becomes checked again after restarting graphics. Any help would be greatly appreciated....and again I appreciate all the hard work. Thank You.

Hi,Yes in earlier builds there was a "problem" where when ALL wx-influenced possible items were disabled, it would submit a blank texture entry (which caused some issues for some users). We now default to last available texture entry if non found. There really NEEDS to be at least one item available during IGS selections. To disable a category, you can uncheck as you have done. It won't save automatically, and unfortunately there is currently no way to save a wx-influenced theme (something we are working on) through the interface. As an alternative you can simply delete the Lights line in the wx-influenced.thm file, or even better, copy wx-influenced.thm to something else (wx-custom.thm for example) and edit that one, so the original is preserved.Hope that helps!
