ASG 6 on Dell 2405 Widescreen

Featured Replies

I just purchased this monitor and to make things easier to see, I increased the DPI setting to about 120.When I do that both the ASV screen looks odd as does the ASG screen which is captured below. For some reason none of my other programs have this odd effect, they are just smaller.I am also using Large Fonts. This is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things, but I thought I would ask.I am also curious if anyone is using the monitor and running Active Sky and seeing a frame rate hit [ I lose about 5 fps at native resolution of 1900X 1200 since using the monitor with Radeon 850X, compared to my CRT at 1024X 768 ], but also upgraded to SU2 before I tried ASV 6 again, so I am doing some troubleshooting here to see where the frame rate hit is coming from. Thanks,Greg

Then it looks normal. If I inch the DPI up there is a sudden transition point where the graphics changes to the one in the picture. Surely this is a problem of scaling, but I am not sure why your graphics don't scale well. This effects only the program interfaces, nothing else.Greg

Hi,OK a little progress. Now, leave the DPI at 96 and just increase the font size under display properties/appearance. If you click on effects you can even increase the size of your icons. I have to do this on my 16 X 12 LCD.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg
