ASv6 Fetch Question

Featured Replies

Hi All,Incredible product, a must have !Is there a way to have the data returned from a "FETCH" automatically updated each time there is an update from the server? I know I can simply click "FETCH" again but was looking for the lazy way out ;-)Thanks!Robert

Hi Robert,Thanks for the comments! If I understand your request, the Update Interval does just that on a regular basis. You can set ASv6 to connect to the server every 10 minutes or more and if the server data has been changed you get the updated data. Remember that the major data changes take place once an hour.Or are you asking that the server trigger an automatic update? Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg

Hi Jim,Thanks for the fast reply! I have the interval set at 10 minutes and get the updates for the nearest station fine (upper windows). If I do a "FETCH" (lower windows) once airborne for the destination it returns the data however it remains stagnant throughout the flight unless I click "FETCH" again. I was wondering if there is some way to have the "FETCH" data (lower windows) update automatically, if there is one, at the same time the nearest station data does as the flight progresses? Thanks!Robert

Not to in any way dissuade the devs into looking into an auto-update of the Fetch data, but I
