January 29, 200620 yr Hi folks,i have to simple questions for you:1) is it normal to have THUNDERSTORM while it's snowing?!? Check Moscow METAR for january 28th h7GMTHow can i eventually get rid of those unnatural flashes?2) sometimes i can read on ASV main screen: VAS point autogenerated... what does this mean?Below are two pictures of my last A321 World Tour 2006 leg to Ekaterinburg - USSSnever seen such nice clouds formations before (and textures are only 128bit)! Thanks ASV Team, GOOD JOB INDEED :-coolLuigi ;-)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/140361.jpg http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/140362.jpg
January 29, 200620 yr It is possible, though not common, to have thunder and lightning while it's snowing - that's a first hand observation. I believe the message regarding VAS means that a vertical air column has been generated by ASV.DJ
January 29, 200620 yr Hi,Sorry been gone most of the day!!1. Yes, as stated it is possible, especially when warm moist air runs into cold air. Doesn't happen often, but it is possible. Makes for a real green sky if at night!2. Yes, VAS is for vertical air simulation.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
