ASv6 works but ASG does not

Featured Replies

I recently had to reinstall windows which wiped out a lot of my Flight sim stuff so after reinstalling everything, including Active Sky, I am unable to open Active Sky Graphics. I can open and use Active Sky 6 weather engine alright but when I try to open ASG I get this error message "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc00001235). Click on OK to terminate application." I tried reinstalling ASv6 as well as the recent update but no matter what I have done ASG never works. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks.Ryan

HI Ryan,ActiveSky Graphics Requires Microsoft .NET Framework v1.1 Most XP users have this already via Windows Update. To install it, visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.comThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpghttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-beta.jpg

doh, I hadn't gotten around to doing all the windows updates yet. My priority after the windows reinstall was to make sure my flightsim was working properly, heh. Anyway, installed all the updates including .NET and now it works. Thanks for the help.Ryan
