February 4, 200620 yr Good Morning All,If you've ever wondered how "real-time" the info from AS6 is, like I have, then this might be of interest.FLIGHT: KIAH to KMLB, LDS 767, departure 1105z, FL350, AS6 processed flight planThis image was taken approximately 70nm west of PIE VOR (Tampa) about 30 from METZY around 1240z. The area to the left was showing lightning as well as a large area of thunderstorms off the left wing:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/140913.jpgThis image was captured from the NWS radar at Tampa at the same time, around 1240z:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/140914.jpgAs you can see, the area marked on the radar image is approximately where I was when I took the flight image.
