February 9, 200620 yr hi there,i really dislike that reduced visibility when rolling on the ground.that shortly after takeoff changes into a clear sunny sky above (correct) and below (WHAT?!?) my aircraft, so that i can clearly whatch the airport details.but shouldn'it be foggy down there?any thoughts?Luigi ;-)
February 9, 200620 yr It's an issue discussed zillions of times, and as far as I remember it's a FS9 limitation and not an AS one.
February 9, 200620 yr Hi,A work-around is to limit your minimum visibility to something like 5nm.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
February 10, 200620 yr which visibility? global visibility, also when airborne?noooo... too bad! i'll stick with my 50 nmthanksLuigi ;-)
February 10, 200620 yr Hi,No, the minimum visibility in ASv6. It will mean that you will never get less than 5sm. The maximum can stay at 50. You misunderstood what I said!Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
February 12, 200620 yr Just swapping one anomaly for another I'm afraid - hobson's choice. This is a very very annoying bug, but as no fix has emerged after 2.5 years of FS9 I don't suppose we are going to get one - roll on FSX.Bruceb Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
